Rollout of Wipro EPGDBM Batch XXII, Bengaluru

SCCE, Pune has launched a new batch for Wipro Ltd under their Notch Up initiative especially on International Women’s Day this year as half of the participants on the batch are girls. It was the twenty-second batch of EPGDBM under the Notch Up initiative of Wipro. SCCE, Pune & Wipro Ltd. managed successfully to inaugurate the new batch in the online mode during this new style of hybrid working.

Mr. Thirunavukkarasu Palaniappan, Sr. Manager – Talent Transformation, Wipro Ltd welcomed all and set the context for this inauguration.

Dignitaries like Mr. P B Kotur, Head - Higher Education Program; Mr. Anurag Seth, VP – Talent Transformation; Mr. Rajeev Menon, VP – Talent Acquisition; Ms. Sarika Pradhan, Global HR Head, BizOps IT & CTO were present from Wipro Ltd and Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) & Principal Director, Symbiosis; Dr. Seema Singh, Professor and Director, SCCE, Pune; Dr. Swati Yeravdekar, Head MBA (Executive), SCCE, Pune were present from Symbiosis along with the team from SCCE, Pune. The participants of the new batch were also present during the ceremony.

SCCE, Pune alumnus, Mr. Sandip Moyal and a participant of the ongoing EPGDBM Batch, Ms. Gayathri K V, thanked Wipro Management & Symbiosis team for their support during the course while working. They also praised Symbiosis for giving excellent faculty members from the industry who showered them with in-depth knowledge. Ms. Arpita from this new batch set expectations out of this course where she would expect to effectively communicate the business concepts and make correct managerial decisions on her growth path.

Mr. Rajeev Menon, Vice President, Talent Acquisition, Wipro Ltd did formal virtual inauguration. He mentioned that Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Dr. Seema Singh and Dr. Swati Yeravdekar are strong pillars of Symbiosis / SCCE, Pune. He said this course will give not only relevant learnings but friendships & relationships and extended his best wishes to the participants.

Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) & Principal Director, Symbiosis congratulated Dr Seema Singh & her team and Wipro management for this tie up. She was thankful to Wipro for showing faith in Symbiosis. She said that these programs are wonderful industry academia tie up and it should be symbiotic relation for benefit of each other. She praised Dr Seema Singh as an amazing lady and a task master.

Mr Anurag informed the audience about Wipro doing various WILPs for thousands of employees. He praised Symbiosis for the programs offered in various functions like HR, Talent Acquisition, Immigration, Infrastructure, IT etc.

Ms Sarika Pradhan felt very proud that she was a part of the team to initiate these programs 15 years back and receiving the awesome response from the management and employees. She informed the participants to grab the opportunity as time waits for none. She beautifully narrated the meaning of WOMEN on the occasion of the International Womens’ Day.

Dr Seema Singh while giving vote of thanks addressed the group and thanked the entire Wipro team for their association with Symbiosis for over 18 years. She gave a gist of the program to the participants and how it would be conducted ahead.
